Allura felt nothing, but she heard and saw everything going on. She needed to get across the bridge and go home, now. But how? Wait, there was still ropes around her heck weren't there? Maybe Toff and Bear could pull her.
"I have an idea!"
Allura shouted to Bear.
" But it'll take two horses."

Midnight turned and looked at Allura. With a great sigh she said
I am willing to help you. Thank you for helping my friend.
When the dart gun had gone off and so many other things had been happening she had been looking around to find out how to hold the humans off.

Allura's eyes soften greatly, a hint of warmth and friendliness replaced the cool, angered light that was there moments earlier.
"Any other would have done the same thing."
She said, embarrassed at the thank-you.
" If you and Bear or Toff could pull me across the bridge by the ropes around my neck, then we can break the bridge at our end, and the humans will never bother us again."

Allura laughed slowly, for the first time it was real laughter, not cool, icy, sarcastic laughter. Her voice sounded rusty, for it had been years since she laughed. But soon it warmed up and sounded warm and almost musical.
" They won't know what happened! Those stupid beasts!"
She managed to sputter.

Bear Shook his head as a snort in place of a laugh.

He stepped forward, his knee locked, and he fell. The plank snapped and gashed his leg (Front right)

He yelled in frustration and sort of embarrassment. He yanked up. Tiny wood peices peiced the spot and blood dripped a little. It was nothing though. He looked back. Their heads were turned, good.
[glow=red,2,300]Uhh... I am tired, I gotta go.[/glow]
He began to gallop home. He looked when he got there. They weren't there, or at least in his sight. He turned and growled at his cut.

Midnight turned around, dumbstruck, and watched his retreating back.

As soon as she said this she turned around to see a human coming toward her. He wasn't interested in catching her, no never Midnight, but in killing her...

Allura snorted, then thrust out her legs, every bit of mental and physcially being strained as she struggled to move and to stand. She struggled and managed to pull herslef to her feet, her slender legs and shaky and unsteady. The human was advancing upon Midnight. Allura's shadowy form sprung forth upon the human, knocking him to the ground. She side stepped then tripped and went down hard. She strained again to stand. When she was on her feet she looked at Midnight and screamed,
" Run as fast as you cna, we've got to get out of here!"
She streaked across the bridged at a thundering gallop and soon disappeared into the shadow of the darkening night.

Midnight sent her slender legs into the fastest motion she possibly could and she was soon gone, like a flash of black lightning streaking across. Maybe she was wrong, maybe, just maybe, Bear was not her only friend. She skidded to a stop, remembering Toff, she skedded off the bridge and fell into ______

Ic// Toff screamed as the sudden fall came. All she heard was a small snap and a hurring noise. She though it was a gunshot. She ran forward, not realizing her fall. She fell into flowers, hearing another creature in them. It was Midnight colbalt hopefulleh.
"Mi-i-idnight...? Are you th-th-there?"

She looked, and her eyes watered.

Midnight's eyes filled with relief for her friend and then she realized that she could grow, she had always wanted to be older, her dream was back and it could now happen, she started to cry, the tears falling quickly, a choked noise coming from her mouth, she was crying in joy not because of these wishes, but because she had gone from being the abandoned and alone dark horse, to the horse with one friend and, now to the hore with three friends, friends like gems to be treasured, to be allowed to shine and to never leave, but maybe she would some day, it was in her nature to be flighty, but there was one thing she knew. The one of these friends she would never leave was Bear

Quickly, and without thinking, Toff stuffed her head down, Chewing the plant, and swallowing. After 5 seconds, she realized what she had done. She didn't know what to do. She didn't watch the flowers for their colors. She just bit. The pain of what had just happen, it could be severe. But she couldn't see the colors anyways. Coughing, she yelled "DON'T EAT THE GREEN!" She got up, and asked her where the red one was.

Midnight tenderly picked a red flower, using just her lips and teeth

She then reached down to grab one herself and her soft lips lifted it into her mouth... she wished to be 2 yrs old
