The little, graceful roan mare picked her way into the caves, her eyes darting about with interest. The was Rhap's first time here, and normally she would have turned around and fled... but she wasn't frightened; she had Tribute with her. She was safe with him, and she knew it.
Nerves and Joy warred with each other in her chest as she tossed her head, sending little strands of her mane fanning against her honed boa. Rhapsody pivoted in the shadows and looked back toward the enterance, waiting for her love to join her.

The large, chestnut stag stepped confidently into the cave, after his mate. He smiled softly at her and moved forward to gently nuzzle her roan shoulder. Her stood there, resting his muzzle lightly against the fae's shoulder for a few moments. Then he stepped back and looked lovingly into her pools.
"Ready?"
Tribute asked, but he was pretty sure he knew the answer. Ooc//: Sorry, low muse. A horse at the barn is colicking, and I won't know if she pulls through for a few days. I'm pretty sure she will though, it wasn't very severe and we caught it right away before she rolled or anything.

Raph's skin jumped under Tribute's touch, the roan mare leaning into the brush as she turned her head to lip at his mane. She trusted him... that was the best, and only real reason she was here. Love was nothing without true trust.
"I am ready, my love..."(OOC: I'm sorry.. I hope everything turns out ok *sends good thoughts and warm hugs*)

Nuzzling the vixen's soft shoulder one last time, the large stag move around behind her. With a soft grunt, he half reared and mounted his mate as gently as possible. He carefully wrapped his forelegs around her barrel and tried to keep most of his weight off her back.
When he was finished, he backed off his mate gently and then stood beside her smaller roan form. He turned his boa and brushed her kisser with his own, sighing affectionately.

Rhapsody nickered softly as Tribute brushed against her, her skin jumping. As he moved, she tossed her crown softly, shifting her stance as she waited. His weight hit her back, not heavy, but the roan mare still startled a little at the unsual senstation of his barrel on her back.
But trust in her partner was enough to keep Raphsody from being frightened, and she arced her crest slightly, supporting him as best she could.
Turning her head, she lipped lightly at his foreleg as he slipped back off her. She tossed her head lightly as the stallion's shadow moved up next to her, lipping at his muzzle as his brushed her own. His breath rushed over her nars, and she let a laugh escape.
" Are you alright?"

Tribute smiled at his mate, and nodded his muscular, chestnut boa. He tilted his crania slightly, his pools showing a hint of cocern.
"Are you alright? Did I hurt you?"
He asked quickly, she hadn't said anything during the breeding, but you never know, perhaps she was or had been in pain.

Rhap gave a nicker of laughter, reaching over to lip at the stallion's forlock. So big, yet he was scared that he was gonna breath and hurt her..
"No, love... I am fine. You didn't hurt me; quite the opposite actually. Relax a little..."

A relieved smile replaced the worried frown on the stag's maw, as his chetsnut auds took in the fae's lyrics.
"That's good,"
He said softly, letting his velvet's gentle graze his mate's cheek. He shifted his alomnd gaze to the sky, letting his thoughts take over his body.
He wondered all sorts of things about the foal. But he also worried the affects the pregnacy and delivery would have on Rhapsody. She was small, not too small, and quite delicately built. He knew she was strong, but his mother had been too. She had nearly died giving birth to him, and had never exactly been 100 percent sound afterwards. She tried to have another foal, but it miscarried, and so did the one after that.
But that won't happen to Rhapsody...
He thoguht to himself as he shook his crania, returning to the present time. He looked down at the roan mare, his almond gaze calm and loving.

Rhapsody stepped toward him, bumping her head against his shoulder lightly. Dark eyes turned to him, he didn't seem himself...
"Hey...Tribute. Whats Wrong? Talk to me, Love.... I don't like it when you are this way..."

Soft almond optics looked at the mare. They were clear and bright, showing the stag was unconcerned and contented.
"Nothing, "
He said, forgetting all about his earlier thoughts. Now his mind was competely on the moment at hand. He stepped closer to Rhapsody and lipped the mare's soft shoulder, whuffing affectionately.
"I just thought of something from before. But don't worry, it was nothing."
He added, catching the mare's gaze.
