OK, so there have been some un-realistic horse heights made on here. Heres some basic info. to help determine what height your horse should be and what height it can't realistically bee. Lets face it, we all want a big, powerful horse, but we also what to keep this game real!
The world's biggest horse was some kinda draft breed..and wasn't he like 23 hh or 24? Even thats really unlikely for a draft. But... heres my point, these are average kinda things, realistic heights and idea's for heights:
Throughbreds generally tend to be 15-17 hh(If even).Average would be 15.2-16.3 kinda thing. You dont generally tend to get 18 hh TB's. They shouldn't be over 17.2 hands high.
To make this game very realistic mustangs shouldn't be over 15.3 hh. They average from 14-15.2 hh. They are generally short, but strong creatures.
Arabians stand 14.3 to 15.2 hh usually, so they shouldn't be more than such.(16 hh is a BIG stretch)
Appys usually stand fron 14.3-16 hh, you MIGHT find a 16 hander, even rarer, a 17 hander.
Friesians - 15- 20 hh. ( I know some may be 22 hh,s but face it, thats not exactly common.
Clydesdales- 15.3 and over. Shouldn't be any higher than 20 hh, MAYBE 21 hh.
All Pony Breeds MUST be under 14.2 hh.
Okay, most of you probaley know all that, but I was bored and just thought I'd post it. If theres a breed thats not on there and you want an estimate of how high it should then just PM me =)
