Where am I? I'm lost. Where's my girl and her family? They're dead. What is this place where I am stuck? The wild. Will I ever get back? No.
The scream of crows, the fast skidding of a spooked horse's hooves. The sound of hooves on rock turned the sound of hooves on sound, a soft thudding. Then appeared the light chestnut, dark orbs wild with fear. Strong body was only a blur as she ran, flew really across the beach. Sonny was not a nervous horse, but she had no clue where she was.
He-hello?
Her voice sounded feeble even to her own audits. Scared into a run again by a tickling by her limbs Sonny looked down to see a million little fish in the crystal clear water.
Is anybody out there?
Her voice was stronger, but full of fear, not knowing where she was made Sonny frightened.
Just scream if you can hear me.
She begged, hoping for the sound of a little girls laugh and then running footsteps, but getting no answer. She could almost see her girl behind closed eyelids, running towards her forever, the apple of the horse's eye.
Where am I? I'm lost

Audits pricked forward as the voice echoed to his ebony tipped audits. Lifting his broad crown from it place among the tiny patches of seagrass, he gazed out across the ocean. His audits picked out the fine form of a chestnut amonst the ocean blue.
A sly smirk ran across his kissers. A damsel in distress? That was his cue. Tossing his crania high into the sky, the cream hued stag starting into a jumpy trot toward the mare. Flexing his tight muscles with each movement, the sand kicked up from beneath his hooves.
Lifting his crania, he let out a strong whinny, telling the beautiful vixen of his whereabouts. Trotting on, he came up beside the vix. Though still keeping a few feet between the two. Audits raised, pricking toward the chestnut mare.
"Aye? Are you alright?"
He spoke cooley, his voice soft and caring. After his voice fell into silence, his optics ran over her bod. They ran over her curves and took in every inch of her form. Perfection. [/color]

Resisting the urge to squeal as she turned swiftly on haunches that were used to it, she was a barreler by blood, Sonny found herself facing a stallion. She hadn't seen one in a long time, she wasn't allowed around any stallions at her former home, only geldings. Unused to his unfamiliar scent Sonny breathed deeply, trying to get used to it.
I-I'm alright, just a little lost. I'm new here. What is this place called?
Sonny looked at him, molded audits pricked forward, then swiveled, catching only the faintest sound of a foghorn from far out into the ocean, this sound didn't spook her, it was a human type of sound, though not a familiar one.
Excuse my manners, I'm Sondador, what's you name?
She smiled, Sonador sounded familiar coming off her kissers, like a long lost friend, her show name the one that was trumpeted over the loud speaker every show, at the end, for the winner of Barreling competition after barreling competition.
The foghorn trumpeted again and she looked behind her, the shadow of a ship with black flags stood on the horizon, barely visible through the thick fogged that banked. She felt bad for the people on the ship as the foghorn sounded again, urgently this time. Those people were lost, like Sonny.

Audits raised curiously as she whirled and looked at him as though the last thing she expected to see was a stallion. Of course any lone mare would be greeted by a stallion. Right? Catching her words, he nodded and gave a small grin.
"Well Little lady, welcome yourself to the Redwoods." He spoke softly, his voice running like velvet off of his kissers. Pricking his ebony tipped audits he caught the faint bugling of a machine from man. Snorting he glared out at the ocean, obviously having a great disliking for the human race. Anyway, with a quick movement he focused his gaze once more of the chestnut vix.
"Name's Bullet. Don't worry to much about your manners here. Everyone's pretty much laid back." He spoke cooley, a soft grin appearing across his kissers as his voice faded to silence.
As the ship bugled again, he snorted, his paperthins flaring wild. Seeing the colossal shape of the ship in the distance and the smell of man, he side-steeped from the mare. Flexing his muscles, he reared 'pon his two legs. Striking out with his front pillars, he slashed the air. He tried desperately to kill the shape of the boat, yet he couldn't as it was two far away. As the ship faded into the mist, he lowered back toward the ground. His paperthins were flared wide, and he was blowing deeply.

Sonny smiled at the brute, through the worry that burned within her she found comfort in being with another, even one whose ways, scent and attitude were so different from the pompous fools back home, she liked him.
Well that's good to know, Sir Bullet, I have dealt with horses who care far to much about manners, it will be good for me to loosen up a little.
As she finished her she saw that the stallion was edging away, freaking out.. how bizzare.
Hey are you ok?
She saw again the ship on the horizong Is that what he's scared of, a boat? Sonny wondered, disbelieving that something so harmless as a ship could scare a stallion such as himself.
That's just a ship, out a long ways away. It's not going to get any closer to shore that that, it's too rocky here.
Sonny turned to the rocky ledges, praying that her words were true.
