Slender white legs carried Wingz' white form easily over the slopes and rises of the grassy hills. She wandered without knowing where she was going, without thinking, without caring. In a single fleeting instant, her entire life had come crash down. The moment when she realised Akadno's true intent.
She shook her small, dished cranium, tears watering within her orbs.She now carried a foal, a foal she knew she couldn't care for alone but she too ashamed to go find a herd. Was life worth the pain of shattered hearts and broken dreams? Or was it an unfair trade? Wingz' couldn't decide but she did lean heavily towards the second though.
Maybe, it wasn't worth it.

Wingz' shifted uncomfortabley, thinking of the foal growing inside her. She couldn't die, she couldn't take away it's life even if she hated her own. The foal deserved a chance. She would live and move on, but only for the foal, no one else.
She exhaled a soft breath and lay down, relaxing in the late afternoon sun. She'd find a herd and forget all about Akando. An image of his flirtatious smirk flashed through her mind and she shook her cranium angrily. She'd have her revenge on him one day, soon.
But for now she closed her eyes and rested, thoughts of her foal swimming through her mind.

*Why would she want to love something so ugly?*
Long, steady strides moved the ebonite stallion over a grass covered hill. Stopping at the crest of it, his chocolate gaze moving across the tumbling hills and swaying grasses. A deep sigh escaped him, that turned into a sharp breath when he saw a cloud hued form. Audits flipped back and Akando took a few uneasy strides back. The grass silenced his movements, so no one would know he was there. Calming himself, Akando walked slowly down the hill toward the mare.
Stopping a few strides away he lowered his boa and saw the mare was asleep. Taking a deep breath he took a uneasy stride forward, but soon back up a few feet. No. She wouldn't want to talk to you. She would never love you! Why is she different from any of the other?
Akando's chocolate gaze became transfixed on the ground and his lyrics spoke out, actually soft and somber. Maybe....his true voice?
"Hello....Wingz"
Hos voice would sound like a whole 'nother horse. He had put a hard shell and mask on...now those things were cumbling...because of one mare. That he actually, truly loved. But. She would never love him.

A slight shiver crept through Wingz' light huen form, as a familiar voice spoke. Her mind still hazy from sleep, she could not decipher who it belonged to. She opened her pools and gazed out at a chocolate tinted firgure. Akando. She stepped back, her optics darkening coldly.
"Akando,"
She hissed, her voice harsh yet steady.
"What do you want? To ruin my life a second time?"

Audits pinned harshly to his skull as he saw her reaction to his re-coming. Snorting, his feelings for her once 'gain hide behind the wall and his lyrics came out harshly.
"I would ruin it a thousand times over if I felt like it."
He spoke roughly, sneering at the cloud tinted mare.
"Seems you don't need my help then. Looks like I'll be leaving."
As his voice fainted into a silence, his ebonite form turned slowly and lazy strides moved the stud away from the mare. Would she call back? |

Audits pinned back as the stallion's stance became hostile. She listened, gritting her teeth, as he spoke. Then his dark form turned to leave walking away with slow, easy steps.
"Fine!,"
Her voice broke out into the now silent air.
"Just forget about the mess you've made! There's nothing you could say anyways, to make it better."
But a quiet, barely audible voice far within her mind whispered,
Except, maybe, I love you.

Limbs struck down hard, and movement seized within the stallion's bodice. Turning his cranium, chocolate orbs shot into Wingz. A smirk played across his kissers, and he turned and trotted back toward her. Circling her, he came back around to her other side.
"Awww. Well is there anything I could do? Do you want to kill me, really? I thought we had something special?"
His voice came out kinda mocking and childish.
"We could have some fun, if you wish?"
A flirtatious grin spread across his kissers and he nipped at her forelock. This mare gave him a feeling, like no other. Yet...he could never say those three words. |

A jolt of fury waved through Wingz' figure and she reared. Her cloud huen bodice and front limbs grazed the air just before Akando's masculine form.Her audits pinned once more in warning and her pools flashed fiercely.
"As much satisfaction as I would get from seeing you dead, I must think of the foal. Just becuase it is sired by you doesn't mean it shant have a fair chance at life."
She voiced harshly.
" Stay away from me if you can't make things right.My foal deserves better than what you could give to it. Your nothing Akando, nothing."
But there still in the farthest corner of her mind, the voice still insisited he wasn't. That Wingz was lying.

Akando took a step backed as the cloud hued mare ripped at the sky. His audits pinned, but soon pricked at her words. 'Your Nothing'...Those words hit him harshly and his chocolate gaze moved toward the soil. Sighing, his voice came out once more....softer than before.
"Yes, maybe I am nothing. Though I am not leaving. I can make everything right, all you have to do is trust me."
'Yeah...She would never trust me.' His own thoughts commented. His form had moved back beside her cloud hued form and his mouth was straight, not in a flirty grin. Orbs were as hard as steel, but beneath them..... |

Wingz raised her dished cranium and snorted with laughter. Her orbs were still cold and uninviting however.
"Trust you? Trust you!"
She choked through her laughter.
"Of course I'll trust you. But only to make my life even worse!"

Audits pinned at the mare's laughter. He was trying to help her, but she was joking around. Snorting he stepped forward and turned so they were face to face. His orbs were hard, showing he was serious.
"How about trusting me to help you?"
His voice was soft and serious. He wasn't lying.
"Please...just trust me."
His voice was almost desperate. She had to trust him. Sighing, his chocolate gaze moved toward the soil. She would never trust him....much less love him. |

Laughter faded as Wingz heard Akando's lyrics, soft and serious. No, he was just lying to her again, as much as she wanted to believe he wasn't. Orns looked slowly at Akando's form, something about his voice and stance showed that maybe for once, he was being sincere. She lowered her head and gazed into his pools.
"How can I trust you, when you've already caused so much trouble from your deciet?"
She asked quietly, still holding his gaze with her own soft, some-what puzzled optics. Her tone still wasn't completely friendly, but it was no longer cool and harsh.

A deep sigh emitted from Akando's kissers, and his gaze moved toward the soil. Would she trust him if he told her? Well she would never love him anyway. Softened, and somewhat somber pools moved to look into Wingz's gaze. Audits flattened, more from shame that anger.
" 'Cause....I..."
The ebonite tinted stallion took a deep breath and looked away from Wingz, his voice failing him slightly.
" I-I-I Love You...."
His own words surprised himself. She would probably run away, attack him, shun him. Why would she love anything so ugly? |

Snowy cranium shook gently, and pools became watery.
"No, no you don't."
Wingz said, her voice quiet, almost unaudible.
"I loved you. But you took advantage of that, just to breed me."
She turned away, trying to hide the tears, the emotion. It was all lies what Akando spoke, all lies.

Audits flattened lower in shame. He went to protest, but Wings started weeping. Pain struck him, and the ebonite stallion reached out his boa toward the cloud hued mare. His deep chocolate pools soft with love and sadness. His broad cranium rubbed gently along Wingz's neck.
"No Wingz. I do, I truly do. I've changed. Why do you think I came back when I could've left you...Why?"
The stallion's voice failed him and it was barely above a whisper. She had to understand....she had to... |

Her heart began to beat faster at Akando's words, then soft touch. No, no, she couldn't give in. Her heart told her that she loved him, that she could trust him now. But it still hurt so much, to be decieved and used.
But he has a point, why would he come back? He could so easily have left you and went on to other unsuspecting mares.
She mulled over this thought for a moment, almost giving in and admiting she loved the chocolate hued stallion back, but another thought screamed through her head.
Because he likes your pain. He thinks your weak and that he can mislead you again.
She snorted angrily and stepped away from Akando's larger, darker form.
"You came back to hurt me again. You must think I so weka and stupid. But I'm not. I won't fall for your deception again. I can see through it all now."
Her orbs blazed with anger, but also watered with tears. She wanted to believe him. She wanted to love him. but, she couldn't. Could she?[/i]

Akando stumbled back surprised at Wingz reaction. Audits pinned harshly and orbs blazed. Snorting, his lyrics poured out into forced yells.
"Why can't you see?! I really love you, I wish not to hurt you! Though you are blind, blind! You want me gone, right? Well then bye!"
Akando reared wildly, front limbs failing. The stallion pivoted and shot off toward the unknown. His heart burned and orbs were wettened. No, she didn't love him. He knew it! Though, why had he been so hopeful?!
Soon th ebonite stallion was lost to the sun, dust, and grass of the earth.
Akando was gone. |

Horrified, Wingz watched Akando's ebonite form grow smaller small, as it galloped father and farther away.
"What have I done? What have I done! I love him, I really love him!"
She wailed, but he voice was lost to the wind.
" I love you Akando. I love you."
She yelled in her loudest voice, but still she knew, to no avail.[/i]
