Lyric's piebald coat was thick and warm but she shivered in the cold winter wind despite it. As she walked she hummed a soft tune to herself, one which she had heard her old human companion once sing. He used to say it was her very own, a song without lyrics which was why it should be hers. Lyric's.
Her lowered her boa and cranium to snuffle at the knee deep snow hen raised them again as she lifted her shadow and limbs high to spare them a few seconds before they were plunged back into it's depths.
She reached the top of a small rise and turned. The land behind her was empty and white, except for a line of hoof prints.
Empty, yet seeming full, like her tune.

Daichi walked aimlessly through the snow in hope of to find another horse somewhere. He saw a faintly line of hooveprints going up. He lifted his weak limbs and they carried him to a mare with a piebald form. He was tired but alive. The storm was horrible and he didn't know if could live through it.
Hello miss. I am Daichi. What do you call yourself?
He needed to say something or it would akward. And now that he spoke it was.

The deep snow muffled the sound of approaching hoof falls but Lyric's ears swiveled and her shadowy cloud hued form turned at the sound of a stallion's voice. She was a little shocked to see another horse but soon spoke.
"I'm Lyric. Pleasure to meet you Daichi."
She arched her boa in a polite little bow.

He smiled weakly and looked at his hooves akwardly. He had nothing to say and thought sadly of his old friends.
what was his life supposed to mean?
He shoock his had at looked at the mare. she seemed troubled but couldn't tell at all. Sometimes he was so dense that he forget everything about others.

A black figure is seen struggling through the snow. It was an onyx friesian.
"Wai-wait up Lyric. You di-didn't forget about me, now did you?" She said panting with fatigue.

Lyric looked curiously at the stallion, who was looking rather awkwardly at his hooves. Just as she was about to speak to him again, the sound of struggling hoof prints and a familiar voice rang through the air. Black Rose. Lyric spun and faced the large, shadowed fae.
"No, I haven't Rose. I just..."
She trailed off momentarily.
"I just needed a little while to think."
She gazed unseeingly into the falling snow swirling through the air, her expression blank. /i]

The crunches of snow could be heard nearby. A shadowed shell of what used to be a joking and happy stallion was nearing the two faes and the brute.
Rose looked back at the nearing stud and squinted as she tried to make out the form. She couldn't recognise this darker souled individual but she had a feeling...
"Thunder?"

Lyric felt her body tense at the sound of crunching snow, the sound of someone approaching. The white sof her eyes showed and she snorted wearily. Rose seemed to know him, or atleast think she did. But it was dark and she could barely see. The fact that the approaching brute, thunder? was it, had a hide of black didn't help much either. She waited to see what would happen next.

The silhouette of the large horse came closer and revealed the muscular bodice of an ebonite gypsy. He came close to the two dark mares and smiled, trying to void away the troubles that recently occurred.
"Hello ladies." He voiced.
The sight of the big lug relieved the onyx mare as she ran to greet him.
"I'm glad to see you're alright,Thunder." She stated happily.

The slender cloud and shadow hued mare felt herself relax. She nodded politely at the stallion before returning his greeting.
"Hi,"
Her lyric's were soft and shy.

Thunder looked at the oreo mare curiously. He walked up to her and looked down on her face.
"Hey there. Who are you and where did you come from?" He asked curiously.

Lyric stepped back and snorted, alittle surprised and annoyed at the stallion's forwardness. Her eyes showed a subtle hint of annoyance, but when she spoke she tried her best to hide it. She knew though, that he'd probaley be able to tell.
" My name is Lyric but where I come from, that's none of your buisness."
She felt herself blush, feeling bad she'd been so rude, but then deciding he deserved it. Yet, she felt alittle embrassed at snappong at him, maybe because she liked him, as a friend amybe? or maybe even more. That could be decided later, if the stallion thought she was worth waiting for. She wouldn't rush into anything like she did with Fury. Ooc// You put [center*] to start and [/center*] when you want to finish, but without the *.

Her harsh words only made the midnight stallion even more interested as he loved a good challenge. He stepped one foot closer and raised his head higher.
"Now now,no need to be snappy. I just wanted to get better acquainted."
He said, sounding much like a flirty teenager.
Thunder was one to recover quickly from heart-break.
Rose simply stood back and lowered her audits as she sighed.
*Sigh* "Here we go"
She was getting quite bored and heard other horses in the distance. One sounded familiar somehow, but there was also an unknown mare's voice. Before anyone could look she was gone in the shadows of the night. OoC//:It looks so much neater =D

Lyric shivered. She felt slightly uncomfortable at being alone with the stallion, since Rose had slipped away. But she covered up her unease and glared at the stallion.
"But who says I want to get betterly aquianted with you?"
She snipped harshly. She didn't dislike the stallion, she felt herself actual drawn to him, but she pushed it away. She didn't want to rush into something like she did with Fury. She didn't want to go through that again.

He did not flinch from such a response. He just walked to her side a little bit. He flicked his forlock back and smiled.
"That attitude doesn't make friends."
He trotted with his head high and his tail up like a banner.
"Don't worry,I don't do funny stuff. Though,I like to be funny. He smiled.

Lyric snorted at his words and resisted the urge to trip the black brute when he came up beside her. When he trotted away she rolled her eyes and turned in the other direction.
"If I want to make friends with someone, believe me, I can."
She said before slipping into the shadows of the forest.

Thunder watched her actions with a smirk and she ran off into the woods.
"Ok miss snippy,if you want to play this game then I'll play this game."
He then too melded into the darkness as he left.

Lyric moved soundlessy throguh the forest, he steps light and steady. Her black patches melted into the shadows but her white parts stood out, pale and ghostly. She soon stumbled across a small clearing, where moonlight spilled in through the scarce leaves.
She stopped in the middle, standing knee dead in silvery snow, and rested. Her eyelids drooped and she let them close completely. Lyric soon settled into a light sleep, still very alert to the noises going on around her in case of trouble.

OoC: Allura replies first thankies ;D IC:Thick boa raised in recognition of what he now heard resounding throughout the hillside. The light fluid steps of a mare forging steadily through the waist deep snow. Marbled audits pricked to a salute as the steps neared the very area in which he was now residing. Fury had been denied the herd raids that they had both so looked forward too and now they were apart for a short time. Callous orbs looked upon the silver clearing that lay just beyond the tree that he now leaned against sparing time to think of what he really wanted as a reward for such undying loyalty. What have we here? how ironic for the very reason of his reward to come within his grasp and doze before his very eyes so vulnerable in the freezing snow that now began to pick up speed lashing around the forest inards like some rabid monster. Cool as the otherside of the pillow he stood to full hieght tossing the thick onyx streaked locks of mane to the side of his broad face. What a nice visit she had brought to him on such a dreary night. Stalking silently from the depths of the broken shadows that cloaked him so well among the night he floated to her. And there he stood face to face with a demon. Delicate eyes still shut tight about sparkling orbs. And what a sin it was to wake a demon he would enjoy this... " Hello there Lyric fancy meeting you here. "His words were eerily cool and without threat merely a quaint greeting that hid so well the detrimental thoughts he held within.

Something in Lyric's mind clicked. She could hear the sound of snow and wind, whipping through the surronding brush. She kept her white lids closed against the cold snow and tried to sleep again. She shifted slightly, resting her right hind and felt a shiver run through her body. Her piebald form grew tense, but she kept her eyes closed as her audits strained to catch any sounds. Soon she felt warm breath blow into her face and heard the deep voice of a stud speak.
Craven.
She opened her eyes and resisted the urge to kick his broad face. She checked her frustration and glared mildly at the large brute.
"Yes. What a surprise."
Her voice was steady and calm, her composure collected, legs planted, neck arched, head high. Her eyes remained on Carven's piebald form as she waited for his next move.
