There is only one place to releive everything of it's suspense and pain...
He heard nothing during the pause until Allura's lyrics peirced the silence, sounding hurt... she had the right. Ares wanted to die, to get away... Allura now wanted to die and get away... Bear felt selfish to think he did not want to die yet, but that dark abyss pulled him in with black ropes and screams.
Her apology surprised Bear... he never thought she'd ever do that, but he felt sort of like he did... Ares shouldn't die, he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Bear shouldn't die, he fell in love then left and fell in love again after heart break. Allura thought Bear didn't love her so she went to seek someone else... Bear should've told her from the start he loved her, but now he was happier, with another love that he loved so much more.
But she did not love him... she asked if he still loved her, He just couldn't handle the pressure, he needed somewhere to think this over... Somewhere silent and quiet...
"You apology is accepted, and I am sorry for not telling you in the beginning my feelings, it was my loss. But now I found someone better for me, so I feel more of the need to thank you for bringing me to White Wolf."
He said, not looking up, his heart pounding in it's cage.
"But there is nothing that can be done to get this stain out of all of us. I must go..."
He said, looking up at all of them, and then, turned around and began to gallop off, each stride closer to another adventure he so feared and wanted so bad.
There was only one place that could contain such silence to be able to think, there was only one place to stop the anger, there was only one place to fear and yet admire...
One place left to brave it's depth. The Dark Abyss.
It is that adventure we will only ride once.

Whitewolf stood by idly, her cranium low and her form far from Bear's. Silven orbs turned to Bear, pained and confused. Why, why did they come? Why did she let her heart soften for Bear? Why were any of them here? It seemed millions of questions moved in her mind. Shredding her already torn heart, her battered soul.
Seeing Bear take a step toward her form, she shifted farther away. She wanted to be alone, to ponder her thoughts alone. To redo the past, though it was already written. If history could be re-written, life would be a paradise.
Her gaze looked up at Bear and then moved to gaze at Ares and Allura. It seemed as though everyone was quiet, the snow made no noise, no small thump as it fell off Redwoods, or the crack of branches falling. Then something broke the silence, Bear's voice.
At his words, her gaze looked up to gaze into his pools, she could tell the truth within his pools. But she was unsure, would it be easier if she just turned away? If she loved, she would be hurt, well that had already happened.
Audits flicked toward her brother as he spoke and she was shocked at his words. Really though, he made sense to her. It would be so easy, just to die and be so far from all of this. To escape all of it. To never feel it again.
But you would die sadly, not with any happiness.
Hearing Bear's response, she turned to him lightly, trying to decide what to do, though her heart and mind fought. The two sides of her fussing over control over the single body. Should she follow her heart, or her smarts?
Her gaze once again looked to Ares and Allura. They seemed so perfect together. Nothing hurt their love, no questions within their love. It seemed perfect. Not with her and Bear, there were so many problems...so many. Perhaps it would be better if she ran away, she never existed.
The silence once again caught the group, and the urge to run grew stronger. To leave all the pain and sorrow. To start over, to live that once carefree life. Not having a second thought about love, a feeling once lost to her.
Hearing the soft vocals of Allura, Whitewolf looked up sadly. She also wanted it to end, for all the pain to die and happiness to fill those voids. As Allura's lyrics fell into silence, Whitewolf opened her maw to speak, but closed it abruptly. She had nothing to say that would help anything. Only make it much, much worse.
It seemed as everyone wanted to die, to escape the pain.
Looking up at Bear as he spoke, she tried to bring a smile to her kissers, though they stayed blank.
[shadow=red,left,300]"I Must Go...."[/shadow]
At those words, Whitewolf's torn heart skipped a beat. The world seemed to stop, and she only heard her heart. Which soon merged with the hoofbeats of Bear.
Bear....
She felt her eyes moisten and she couldn't turn to look at his fleeting form. Soon salty tears began to stream down her face, tainted with the pain she felt inside of her bleeding heart. The warmth of the tears sent a chill down her spine, as if they were tears of blood. Perhaps they were made of blood.
Looking up to Ares and Allura, she gave a meek smile, forced onto her face.
"Allura...you're not so bad. I hope you and my brother settle things."
Her voice sounded out with many spaces and pauses within it. It sounded so pained, so hurt. Giving a small nod, she turned and threw down her front limbs, starting off at a thundering gallop. Each of her hooves striking down with a crushing thud and it was all fueled by her feelings. Those feelings of pain, confusion, sorrow, anger, heart-break...all of the feeling that started this.
She had to find Bear...

Allura stood and gazed at the ground, then looked up at Bear when he spoke. She nodded her cranium at his first words, and a small only slightly forced smile played on her velvets. Butthen it faded when he spoke again. Her bornw gaze stayed on his red form as he turned away from the group and galloped off. Soon he had become nothing but a small red speck on a far off crest.
Then chocolate orbs glanced towards White Wolf. It was evident by the tears on her silver cheeks and the pained, watery look in her eyes that she was hurt. Who wouldn't be? At first Allura couldn't speak. She didn't know what to say to console the mare. She opened her mouth to say something, anything but stopped as she heard White Wolf's own vocals, which she spoke with an obviously forced smile on her kissers.
Allura guessed White Wolf's words ment she was forgiven, but she still felt terrible. She nodded back to the mare, then watched her turn and run, knowing that she was going after Bear.
"Good luck!"
She voiced after the fleeting silver figure.
Small ebonite formed turned to face Ares. Allura's soft pools were filled with confusion now. Where did they stand? Did Ares want it to be over between?

As Tears Fill My Eyes, I Remember....
Ares stood silently as his words registered with Bear. It would be so much easier to die, to forget everything. He loved Allura, he understood Bear, he was happy for Whitewolf...but, he caused all of this pain. Because he had met Allura, let his heart soften for her.
As a silence fell over the group, and he sent a glance to Allura. He didn't think of how his words could of hurt her, how she would have took it. Pain took into Ares's heart, a feeling he had quite enough of. One that plagued him for seasons, caused this mess to happen.
He felt caught in the middle of this, unsure of what to do. Leave Allura and start over? Or try to patch things up? Though those thoughts were sent to a halt as Allura stepped away from him. His audits pinned back in sadness as he tried to read her orbs, thought he couldn't catch anything.
Then as the words fell from Bear's mouth, he looked toward him. Confusion filled Ares, Bear wouldn't kill him? But Bear hated him, he would take every chance to kill him. Perhaps he had changed, because of his sister? Though, his mind went back to Allura, his orbs pained. He hated to see her like this. He just wanted to fix everything.
He swung his cranium away from Allura, thinking that she didn't want to near him any longer. About to start to walk away, he was caught by her words.
As her voice faded into silence, he turned to look back at her. Taking a few steps toward her, he paused. Maybe she didn't want to be near him.
Hearing Bear's lyrics fill into the air. A small smile placed across his kissers. Though, when he began to turn and run away, Ares looked directly toward his sister. He could see the glint of tears in her silven orbs and turned to Allura. As she spoke, he looked toward the ground and stood silently. Why was everything so wrong, everything had messed up. Then he heard the pounding of his sister's hooves faint into silence. Feeling Allura's gaze on him, Ares looked up at her with ebonite pools.
"I don't want you to leave, why would I? How could I be happy if you were not with me? Allura, I don't think you understood my question to Bear. I was hoping to die, so....I could get rid of the pain. Though that would be selfish of me, because it would leave you in more pain than ever."
His lyrics sounded out softly, his voice different that it had ever been. A odd glint was in his ebonite pools, a feeling he didn't know or couldn't explain. Then he suddenly remembered something. Something that Allura had asked him that he had yet to answer. He never did answer it. A warm smile moved across his kissers as his mind pictured the future, what this question could do to shape their future, together.
"Oh yes and I forgot, I never answered you. Yes, I would love to have a foal."
His lyrics sounded out happily, trying to soften to moment. Though his orbs glittered with the moisture of tears that he held back.
A innocent Question, You Had Asked...

Pools of brown became glazed with tears and Allura turned her head ever so slightly, as if trying to hide them. Ares's voice was so soft, so gentle, that she couldn't believe she'd ever accused him of wanting to leave her. She'd been so wrong. He cared about her more than she had thought, more than she had hoped he would. It was such a great feeling to know he loved her so much, her tears were a mixture of embarrassment, relief and overwhelming happiness. Then Ares's second string of lyric's found their way into her shadowed audits. He remembered that?
Allura turned and looked straight at Ares, her gaze locked with his. Her chocolatey pools held a gleam of hope that mixed with love.
"I love you, Ares. With all my heart. I'm sorry you've gone through so much pain because of me, I'm sorry everyone has. But now, I just want to put it behind us."
She paused for a moment and took a deep breath,
"I can't wait to just get home and forget all this. And soon, have our own family."
She knew that she'd never really forget about all this, but she also knew that if her and Ares's relationship could survive all of it, then they were ready for their own foal, their own family. It had almost been like a test, but much harder and more emotional. Hopefully, they'd gotten a passing grade.

Looking away for a moment, his obsidian gaze was wavering, looking toward the horizon his sister had disappeared to. The snow was battered around them, many hoof prints sliced into the snow. Furthering his gaze, it layed on the snow the lead the way to their home. How did it look like now? He hadn't been there in forever. Well now, he and Allura could live there happily. Perhaps even have a heir.
Looking back toward Allura to catch her gaze, filled with so much love. Giving a warm smile, his audibles pricked as she began to speak. Even at the first three words, Ares felt his heart warm.
As her voice faded into silence, he let a smile place itself across his shadowed kissers. Rust hued tressals layed over his boa on either side, wispy strands covering his obsidian optics from her view. It was hard to tell his feelings suddenly. It seemed he had a change in mind. The warm smile disappeared and his orbs were unreadable.
Suddenly, he stepped forward, thrusting a pillar into the snow. As he moved past her, he let his barrel bump playfully into her shadowed form.
Arching his boa around, he let his gaze fall into hers. A playful glint within them, a childish grin set on his kissers. Words didn't come from his vocals, as his movements said more than words ever could.

At Ares's smile after she spoke, Allura felt a smile of her own play onto her velvets. She was tempted to step forward and nuzzle him, but then his expression changed it began unreadle, almost grim.
Oh know, please say he didn't change his mind again.
The ebonite fae prayed silently in her mind. She stared at Ares, a hurt expression in her eyes.
Then his red form thrust forward and she felt snow spray against her chest and legs, then Ares's barrel bumping playfully against her shadowed flank.
Allura sighed with relief and a bright, playful grin re-appeared on her kissers, as Ares circled back infront of her.
Tail swished mischievously as Allura stood, chocolatey pools holding Ares's. She flickered her auds then lean back on her hindquarters, thrusting her forelimbs into the air in a playful rear. As she came down, snow shoot into the air, straight towards Ares.
A smug little grin showed on Allura's mouth as she winked at Ares, then turn and ran.
Shadowed form became a blur, as slender black limbs pounded the snow, sending little sprays into the air. Allura turned her head to make sure Ares followed then bucked foalishly and laughed.
Finally, they were going home.

Giving a sly smirk in comparison to Allura's smug grin, a deep laugh began rising inside his chest, though the roan stud held the laugh. As a mischievous look came over Allura, Ares stepped back, though it was in vain as her form rose toward the sky.
As she plummeted back down, snow flew from beneath her bod and shot toward him. Shying away, the snow still hit it's mark; the roan stud's face. Shaking his crania roughly, the snow fell harshly off of his profile. His rusty tressels were sprinkled with snow and his face was numb. Catching the smug wink from Allura, Ares gave a foalish look of disapproval, before she shot off over the horizon.
Leaning back on his haunches, he let his muscles tighten. When they were at the breaking point, he let them release, and like a spring, he shot forward, pistons taking his roan bod quickly over the terra-firma. Broad, dirt hued pistons brought his form abreast to Allura, and he gave her a small smirk before lunging ahead. Still threw all of the snow, he couldn't o very face and only managed to stay half a length in front of his love. Finally, perhaps they could have their Happily-Ever-After.

Soft, almond pools caught sight of the roan stag as he drew abreast the vixen's shadowed form. The fae drove her black pillar's deeper into the powdery snow, each thrust pulling her form at forward at a greater speed, but it was too late. Ares's red form was soon drawing ahead, though only holding a half-lengths lead. Allura continued to push herself on, staying close behind. Soon they were leaving the grassy hills and heading for home.
