Earlier:*Wingz had just stumbled back into the Redwoods, after a long, harsh trip across the desert, when she felt something move inside her, her foal. She gasped, feeling the foal kicking inside her round barrel. She knew it was time and started heading for the White Redwoods.*
Present:
The round, white fae slowly walked into the field surronding the large white redwood. Her cloud hued coat was darkened with sweat and her bretahing was laboured. She tiredly lowered her figure to the soft grass and whinnied anxiously. It was time, but she wanted Akando to be there.
Pulling her limbs beneath her round form, the vix attempted to stand. She snorted with effot, but couldn't pull herself up. She grunted as she lay again flat on the lush grass.
Her water broke and she whinnied again, loudly. Perhaps Akando would hear her, perhaps not.
A contaction riplled through the petite fae's body and she grunted, pushing hard. She closed her eyes for a second and rested, then a second contraction swept through her form.
Akando, please, come....
She thought to herself, before whinnying as loud as she could during a momentary pause in the contractions.

Speed. The adrenaline rushed through his many veins as pistons glided his shadowed bod quickly across the terra-firma. His mind was racing, perhaps quicker than his legs. Dirt, dust, grass, rocks, even a bug flew up from beneath his pounding hooves, anxiety overtook him, and send even more adrenaline threw his bod. The wind whipped madly at his ebonite tressals, flicking them hard against his sweating pelt. Chocolate optics were stinging as his forelocks whipped into his face, yet he couldn't close them with the risk of falling.
Crashing threw whatever was in his way, the anxious stud scrambled wildly threw the Redwoods. Small cuts began forming around his chest and shoulders, yet the pain sent him into another wild sprint. Crashing threw a quick painful spiked brush, his breath labored and his stomach rose and fell in second tied motions.
Yet, he kept going.
Pivoting quickly as another distressed call broke the harmony of his crashing hooves, he moved toward the caller. Barreling around a corner, he threw his weight to the side quickly to avoid a tree. Barely relieving himself of a terrible crash, he lurched forward, his charcoaled form crashed threw another bush.
Wingz.
Trotting forward, he lowered his broad crania toward her's. His breath was labored and gasping lightly, but in comparison his breath was much easier then hers. Anxiety, that deviled little feeling tortured his heart and mind, cutting deep within him. He cursed the feeling and told himself that everything would be alright. But his mind was elsewhere, it was at that stormy night in the center. Oh why had he done such a dumb thing? The shadowed czar felt like biting himself, though at the moment, his mind was so clouded that he didn't know what to bite, much less what he could reach.
Felling a slight stinging around his front, the stud looked 'pon his chest. Cuts, thousands, well maybe a dozen of small cuts. They were welled with his blood, yet they didn't flow down his chest. They were to small, and for that he was grateful.
With a grunt, the stud folded up his pistons and well with a hollow 'thump' beside Wingz. Yet he didn't know what else he could do. Sit there yes, but what else? It wasn't like he was the one with the foal in his stomach.

By the time the petite cloud hued vixen's almond pools caught sight of the ebon stud racing around a tree, the tiny forelegs of the delicate foal were beginning to appear. She whuffed softly as the stag lowered his muzzle to hers, then he lay down beside her. Her optics lost their scared, nervous look, and were now almost calm and content.
"I'm so glad you came Akando. I was afraid you wouldn't hear me."
The fae whispered quietly, her optics taking in the many small scratches on his chest. She reached out and nuzzled his shoulder gently, then grunted as a contraction swept over her barrel.
Her contractions were coming even quicker now, and she grunted and groaned with each push. She took one more deep breath and with one final push the foal was free. Wingz closed her almond pools and lay still, catching her breath. A moment later she struggled to her feet, breaking the life cord. She turned around and lowered her muzzle to the foals tiny, dark form. She licked it's head gently, clearing it's nostrils so it could breath, then continueing to lovingly lick the rest of it's fragile body. Her pools were glazed over with happy tears, and she gazed at Akando, whickering softly to him.
"Isn't he beautiful?"
She asked, glancing down at the tiny bundle who was now beginning to take in his surrondings with bright blue eyes. He looked up at his dame and sire, and nickered softly, flicking his over-sized ebon ears about curiously. Wingz licked him again, encouraging him to try and stand so he could eat. The newborn colt brought his spindly forelegs beneath him and tried to push himself up, but couldn't manage the feat. With a determined snort the young foal tried again, this time managing to get half way up, before falling.
Wingz chuckled softly, watching her offspring's determined struggle. Only three years ago, that had been her, the spindly newborn following her instincts to stand and eat. She nuzzled her colt's black flank gently and nickered softly to him. This time he stood, his small form shaking unsteadily beside he dame's larger white figure. He nosed her side, searching for her milk, and soon found it.
With a excited nickered he began feeding, his short bushy tail swishing contently.
